The Montgomery County Community Clinic (MC3) is a proposed not-for-profit charity primary care clinic committed to increasing health care access to those in need in our area. The clinic is a health ministry of the First Presbyterian Church of Independence, KS. The ?safety net? health clinic expects to open January 31, 2007 at 900 W. Myrtle. The first site to open will be in Independence. Plans are to expand to Coffeyville and Neodesha later. Lead Volunteer for the project is Susan V.M. Kleinbeck, RN, PhD. The first project of MC3 on Nov 3, 2007 is mass innoculation of 1000 free flu vaccine using a "drive-thru" process.
